Multiple variable and a Key Trigger
Sep 04, 2016
Hi,
I am having trouble figuring out how to do the following. I have 2 variables on a slide that the user needs to complete then I would like them to click F8 to move on to the next layer. So far, the only way that I have made it work is to click outside the text boxes once I have entered the info and then click F8 (used the presses a Key trigger option with the condition that my variables are filled properly). Anyway that I can do this without having to click out?

I believe the variable's value isn't assigned until that text box loses focus
So pressing F8 is not considered loosing focus? Is there anyway I can change that variable to be assigned another way?
F8 looks like any other keystroke to the textbox, except to ignore as F8 isn't an alphanumeric. Off hand I don't believe there's a simple way to assign a variable to user's input. I suppose you could create your own textbox-like element but that's way, way overkill and less than trivial
