Mutiple Buttons, Multiple Layers
Apr 02, 2013
Hi everyone,
I have 4 buttons that control 4 statements, each statement is on its own layer. Button 1 = Statement 1 etc.
The slide begins with none of the statements showing, I want the user to click the button to display the statement.
If a user clicks another button I want the first statement to stay visible rather than disappear, etc etc. I've tried the slide layer properties visibility already. Not to sure if I need to duplicate all the statements on each layer or if this can be controlled by triggers and conditions.
Thank you

Instead of having each statement be on a separate layer, it might be easier to alter their states to reveal them. Basically, just make the initial state of the objects set to hidden, and then use triggers on the buttons to change them to "normal" when you click on them. Maybe that will work better?
Awesome! Made me realize how important working with "States" really is. Coming from Captivate I've been bound to making things work with layers. Thanks a bunch Jesse!
