My Articulate hangs after installation :-(

Hello Everybody, Hello Staff.
I have installed Storyline on several computers. I have problems only in my father`s Laptop. System: Windows 8 (64bits) + Office 2010 (32bits) + Latest StoryLine. "Main Difference Windows 8"
Well, short-story long-story I have followed the http://www.articulate.com/support/kb_article.php?product=st1&id=gdz9t4lj0g7w from A to Z. No solution!!! I am willing to try again with an inside suggestion..
Here is my problem.
After installation when you try to open the Storyline it will stop on the "Adding Views..." splash screen. Followed by a "Storyline Error, send report or no thanks button." Whatever you choose you will end up with a Frizzed Storyline Window. You may see the attached pictures.
The only similar post I could find on the forums was: http://archives.articulate.com/forums/articulate-quizmaker/19616-hangs-start.html, actually was similar only in the part "It allows you then to ignore and continue or quit. If you continue the program hangs at the point of Adding views..." as this guy had an issue with .NET Framework which I don´t.

Hi Harold, welcome to the community!
Sorry for the trouble you're having. I'd recommend giving our tech team a shout at this point. You also mentioned having Storyline on several computers. If you're trying to run Storyline on more than two computers with only one license, that could be the issue, though I believe you'd get an associated message letting you know you've exceeded activations, or something like that, so it doesn't sound like that would be the issue here.
Let me know the case number you receive and I'll be happy to check up on its status for you.

Thanks for the answer! All the installations were Trial Versions, and as you say I don't get that far where the Soft ask me for the Activation Key.

I'm having the same issue. I'm wondering if you ever found an answer for this problem. I'm trying to run Articulate Storyline 2 on a Lenovo Yoga 3 and can't get past the "Adding views" screen. At that point I have to go through the task manager to close the program.
I'd love to hear any possible solutions!
Hi Michelle! This thread is a bit dated and I am unable to locate a support case for Harold that I could provide an update on.
Be sure that you meet our system requirements that our listed here and that you are working locally.
I would advise that you try to repair your software and if that does not assist, reach out to our support team here.

Hi,
I know this is an old post but I am having the same issues (Storyline 3). The only resolution I have found in the last few weeks was to either reinstall or install the latest update/s.
The problem is, it works fine for a few days then stops loading at the "adding views" step and then won't open of course.
Was there a fix to this anywhere?
