My Storyline 2 file not saving due to 'insufficient memory'

Jan 08, 2016

I am new to this forum, and to using Storyline 2, so I hope you can help - apologies if this is a daft question!  My Storyline 2 file not saving due to 'insufficient memory' but I have 198GB free on my computer, and the file size is only 190MB.  It says to close down other programs but I don't have anything else running except Outlook.

Please help as I don't want to lose what I have done!

Many thanks

Jo

Many thanks Kate!  I tried it three times and still the same message.  It's a file I had previously saved ok, so it was updates to it that I was trying to save.  I've found that if I save it under a different filename it then saves it ok, but then I just end up with 100 versions of the same file each time I want to save a change!  Have you encountered this?

Many thanks!

Hi Jo

I found this information on an older post

Hey Guys... By the way... I also have a very powerful computer and I do get this message...BUT AFTER SOME FRUSTRATIONS OF NOT BEING ABLE TO SAVE... I FOUND A WAY....SIMPLY CHOSE SAVE AS TO ANOTHER NAME...IN ANOTHER FOLDER AND IT WILL SAVE YOUR WORK...THEN CLOSE IT AND OPEN IT AGAIN... (RE-BOOT IS HELPFUL BEFORE RE-OPENING) HOPE THIS HELPS UNTIL THEY COME TO A SOLUTION ON THE NEXT UPDATE..
