You should be able to accomplish this with a variable. When you add a text entry object onto the screen, it should automatically create a text variable (rename it in the variable screen to something like "First Name" so that it's easier to identify).
On your results slide, you can type your text like this:
Congratulations %First Name%, you passed the quiz!

How do you add a text entry object? is this just adding a regular text box?
If you go to the Insert tab, there is a section called Interactive Objects - the text entry object can be found in the Input drop down.
