I'm using a couple of templates in the course I'm building. Both have various slides that reference name variables which all have different naming conventions.
In the course intro it works on the 2nd slide. However, when I reference the same variable in another scene it doesn't work. I'm stumped.

Please make sure that you are working locally as described here. You could also try importing the file into a new file to see if this helps.
