Narration text

Aug 15, 2012

Hi,

I would like to create an own style for the narration text, but I am not sure if what I would like to have is possible to be created in Articulate Storyline.

My idea is that the narration text is not visible until the user clicks a button. And when he clicks it, the narration text flies in and when he clicks the exit button, then the narration text flies out.

I can solve that the text appears when a button is clicked and it disappears when another button is clicked, but not the flying in-flying out thing, even when the user tries this option more than once.

Is it possible to do it in Articulate?

Also it would be good to have a scroll bar attached to the narration text.

And, by the way, is it possible to modify the scroll bar somehow? (I mean, changing the color and so on.)

Thanks,

Szandra

Hi,

Thanks for the quick answer, the solution in the thread was very interesting!

But it was not completely what I wanted. I would like to have the narration text (or closed caption) like this way, although not just appearing when the button is clicked but flying in (animated). You know, coming from the bottom of the slide until it finds its place and then leaving the screen downwards when the button (or another one) is clicked.

Is there any chance for this?

Thanks,

Szandra
