navigation buttons

Via slide properties I can use the slide navigation controls; previous, next and submit. I wander if I could translate them and add more buttons. Or can I only do so by creating my own in the slides (which takes more space)? Reason is that my users prefer their native language and they prefer a different button for temporary stopping and finalise the module.

Hi Ettina,
In regards to the language, yes. You can certainly translate these, or edit them to customize them. To do so, click on "Player" under the publish section of the menu. Then, click on "Text Labels" under custom. Here, you can choose a language, or enter your own custom text for the buttons.
In regards to adding additional buttons, you're correct. If you want additional buttons, the best route to take would be to add your own custom buttons and assign triggers to them. You can place them on your Slide Master, if you'd like so they'll show up on all of your slides. However, if you're looking to add things like notes, a glossary, etc, those options are all available in the Player Properties.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks!
Hi Christine
Thanks for helping out, this is what I am looking for. And I have tried. When I go to Player, Text labels. I have choosen Dutch as language. When I adjust Submit from indienen to stoppen, I click on Update preview and ok. However when I look at preview, the button still shows indienen, Any idea what I do wrong?
Good morning Ettina,
You'll want to make sure you're saving the changes. Take a look at this tutorial, it will walk you through the changes you need to make and the process for saving it. You may need to scroll down a little bit to the section on changing languages.
If you're still not able to see a change, please let me know!
