I need a data entry field where the user has to enter specific text in order for the slide to jump to the next slide. If the user does not enter the specific text, a layer will show telling the user to try again.
The user must type MedCO PPRS. I cannot find where i assign this specific text. If the user does enter this text, what trigger to is use to make the slide jump forward?

You could use a form-based Fill-in-the-blank quiz slide, see attached.
