just purchased Storyline and am happy with its functionality. However, most of my courses are process interactions - step-by steps. so, seeing the Engage tutorials really excited me - seems incredibly easy to turn my word instructions into video.
can I do the same thing, just as easily with Storyline or do I need to and can I purchase Engage (outside of Studio?)
Storyline has some built-in interactions you might like. From the Insert tab, go to New Slide > Templates, and from the drop-down arrow, choose Top Interactions.
And of course, you can always take Engage for a free 30-day test drive, and import any Engage interaction right into Storyline. And if you decide you want Engage as well, you're absolutely able to purchase it separately from the other Studio products.

Yes - you can buy Engage on it's own, (currently on discount at $399 - see http://www.articulate.com/store/store.php
Storyline will let you do vast amounts, but not in the same way as Engage - it shares some of the interactions but not all.
