Need help

Dec 09, 2015

Hi everyone! I'm looking for a specific template. What I need is:

I have six steps displayed in six shapes. I want to be able to click on one of them then an image appears, relevant information to this step also appears and a button on which I click when I'm done reading close the image and text disappears. Can you provide any links? Thanks

Hey Marc-Andre. You really have all you need within Storyline. Put your steps on the base layer. Add six layers. Then on each layer put the image and relevant information related to the step. Then go back to the base layer and one at a time click on each step and add a trigger to show the respective layer when user clicks step. Depending on how your images/text appear on each layer you may have to check the "hide objects on base layer" in the layer properties (in the example I used a white box to cover the base layer objects). Then add a way to close the layer.

Here's a simple example.
