Need help Importing other StoryLine slides

I have two courses that I want to merge. The project sizes of the two courses were different but I resized one project from its different size  to a smaller size so that both projects are now the same size. When I look at the modified project it looks fine and all the objects are positioned right where they should be. Then when I import the slides from the modified project into a different project all the objects reposition themselves. I have tried to Group every element from the modified project slides. I have locked every element in that project before trying to import but nothing works.
