I am modifying a course built by somebody else and there is a slide out menu on the second page, the menu appears when you click the next arrow on the first page, i need to change the date on the menu but i cannot find it to change it.
Hi Rob, the file that you attached here seems to be corrupted. Would you mind sharing an other copy of your SL file? Please see the attached for your reference.
Hello Rob, On my end, the problem remains intact. I wish the SL file you gave was created using a different version because I'm using the most recent version of Storyline and I can't open it (v.3.72.29699.0). I've tried to downgrade the SL version, but so far that option hasn't worked. Wish someone from the community can help you with.
I tried opening the project file on my end, and I got a prompt that the project file was corrupted as well. This article explains what causes file corruption, as well as ways to prevent it.
I attempted to recover the contents of your project file which I've attached to this response, but most of the media files will have to be added back to the slides. Would you mind checking this file out and showing me where exactly is the section that you would like to modify so I can show you how?

a had a look into the .story file - it was last saved with 3.59.26702.0 (Dec 2021)
i downgraded to the oldest version in my archiv (3.60.26947.0) and it don't open
the .story file (= zip) is not corrupt
maybe we should make a feature request - please give us helpful error messages in case of problems
