Need help URGENT on visit slide tracking

Dec 16, 2014

I need help on this one.  I have a button on the master slide to call up a light box menu.  The texts on the menu have states.  I can't figure out to past the variable correct so that if I click on the menu button on any of my content slides, the text on the menu slide would then changes to visited.  I added variables on the content slides to change a variable to true when time starts.  On the menu slide I have a change variable of the particular text object to visited.  Any help???  I am attaching a file.

You shouldn't need variables at all on the TOC slide. Simply setting the slide properties to 'Resume saved state' should be sufficient to preserve the Visited states of the menu buttons. If you do want to use your variable approach, then you need to change the three slide triggers on the TOC slide as shown below.

The 'When Variable xyz changes' option is limited to the slide where the change actually happens, and in your case the variables are NOT changed on the TOC slide, but on the content slides.

Michael...I got that... but what if I want the menu slide texts to be track as I go through the content slides?  i want those text objects on the menu slide to automatically to visited states to simultaneously as I am viewing the content slides.  So when I do click on the menu button, the lightbox menu would show all the viewed as visited.???
