I've got a project with a main character on screen, near the bottom of the screen is a row of buttons which when clicked pause the main timeline and launch a brief video "tip" for the user (which is housed in slide layers). When the tip is finished the user can click and return to the main timeline. I've got the CC handled well for the main timeline but am stumped as to how to get it going for the video "tips" in the slide layers. Somehow the layers need to know and have the ability to turn the main timeline (and it's own) CC on and off in order to properly display it's own CC. Any help would be appreciated.
