After clicking every icon along the bottom (and not before), a Continue button should display. The variable and triggers I have set up seem like they should make it work perfectly - but I must be missing something simple. Can you take a peek and see if you can figure it out? Sorry in advance you have to click on everything before you know if it's working..!
Unless I misunderstand something, you don't want to change the state of the Continue button WHEN THE TIMELINE starts, but when all the items you specified are in Visited state. So you need to adjust your trigger to execute when the state of all items is Visited. Something like this:
your trigger is to change the state of the continue button to normal when the timeline starts - but none of the items have been visited then. Try changing the trigger to 'change state of continue button to normal when State of 'All of" and then tick all the items in the bottom bar that must be visited.
I don't believe this will solve the problem, let me explain why -
Currently the learner needs to view all the icons along the bottom not only on the base layer, but also on the scroll right layer (I couldn't use the scroll bar feature because currently you can't group an item in a scroll bar with something outside, and I wanted the items to hover simultaneously, so I went with using another layer as the scroll right).
When I select State of, as recommended, it only gives me the options of the items on the base layer. So I made a variable that switches when the all icons on the scroll right layer are grayed out(disabled), and then changed my base layer to State of (with the condition). I'm attaching it. This is close to working - any ideas?
For anyone new to the thread, please go off the new attached file below versus the original above, I realized I had them set to the "visited" versus "disable" state above.
It may work better to allow the built in visited state do the work for this file. The visited state will automatically apply to the items when they are clicked, however the disabled state will need another trigger to have this happen.
The problem with the states is that I can't access the items on the second slide to have them on either Visited or Disabled, it works the same for either. Thanks for posting. Any other ideas?

Hope that makes sense
Sorry Michael didn't refresh to see you had answered Melanie's question
