Need navigation help...

I can't figure out how to do something and I've run out of ideas on what to look under...

I made a slide that looks like a bookshelf with books on it. Each book takes you to a different scene about that specific topic. I made each book a  hotspot so when it's clicked it takes you to that scene. That works great.

What I want to do now is have the state of each book change to show it was "checked out" after that scene is viewed. My final book takes you to the overview and quiz, so I want that one to show up as "checked out" initially and then reveal the book after ALL the other chapters have been viewed. Does anybody know how to make this happen? Do I need a hidden button somewhere? This seems like it should be easy to do...

Gina, for the checked out states you could use objects that are only visible once a chapter has been viewed. Once all chapters have been viewed, you could chnage the state of a Quiz button from disbaled to Normal. Here is a quick sample, I hope that's what you wanted: http://dev.keypointlearn.com/xcl71_SL/BookShelf/

And see attached story file.
