I have an lms and the articule storyline file within an Iframe, I need to target a link to the parent window not the iframe as it is opening now. Html target link is not accepted within storyline, what can I do, how can I handle this, is there some work around?
thank you for your reply, I have seen that thread before but there should be an easier way to do that within story line. I don't want to use web objects, nor add the parent tag to every page, its a lot of work. There should be a way to do that within Storyline. I wish it would except a simple line of code to push to the parent window but storyline doesn't allow for html except a simple link which goes out. This is makes things hard for us as we have build over 40 courses.
I don't know of another way to set this up in Storyline, so I'd have to defer to the community at this point. Best of luck with the rest of your project.
Certainly we'll keep you posted on updates or new features to come - and if you'd like you can always share your thoughts on features with our product development team in the form of a feature request.

Hi Daniel,
This thread is a bit older, but it has some information in terms of code you could add to open the link in the parent window.
This basic feature is still not fixed after two years? Is there a new work around that will work for both PC and ipad? thank you

Thanks Ashley, I hope in the future editions of Storyline the developers could address this issue.
