Created a button with 3 states - Normal is orange, Hover is blue, Visited is grey. All other states were deleted.
Need every button I insert to be formatted this way --- and everytime I put in a button i have to re-format every state and delete the unwanted ones!!!
This is way too labor intensive and I need a fix.
I am NOT using pre-built styles -- must conform to brand standards color palette.
Hi, Michele -- Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear of your troubles! Perhaps you will want to take a look at the discussion over here and let us know if that is similar to what you are experiencing, and here some additional information on the Storyline clipboard and Format Painter.
I create a slide with a button on it that I use a lot. I put the slide outside the program flow, so it just sits there.Think of it as a library, because it has other high use items on it, too. When I need the button, I go to that slide, copy the button and paste it. Comes with states and triggers.
I also have this problem! I specifically need to change the style of a button and 4 states without changing the triggers. You should be able to add your own buttons to the button menu and reuse them with it changing the triggers. This is causing hours of work over multiple courses with this problem.
