Net Dimensions Talent Suite 9 Not Recording Completion of Scorm Modules

Aug 04, 2015

Hi!

I have been researching about this problem and testing some solutions, but I am unable to find a definitive solution.

I release a module each month (refresher modules). These modules are built using Storyline 2. The completion of each module is based on the results slide (80%). The LMS (Net Dimensions Talent Suite 9) records completion for most of the participants except a few.

All the participants seem to use similar systems and browser. Most of them use Internet Explorer 10. In some cases, multiple participants have used the same system (with their own LMS IDs) to complete the modules.

I receive manual requests from participants to change their status to completed in the LMS as their score is above 80% and the LMS has not recorded it. When I go into the LMS, it does not have a record of the attempt, or in some cases, the attempt is recorded with few interactions but not the score.

Would you have any suggestions for me?

Thanks!

Hi, Ramya -- thanks for your question, and sorry to hear you are having issues. As this pertains to an LMS, have you tested your course in the SCORM Cloud? You may also find these links on troubleshooting LMS issue to be helpful:

Hope that helps, and please let me know if issues persist.

Thank you, Christie. I have tested the module in Scorm cloud and it is recording completion. I went through other documentations related to LMS issues as well. Just like Scorm Cloud, Net Dimensions is also recording completion for most of the users except for a few. I have been working with those few users to understand the issue, find patterns and weed out human errors. It is still baffling for me.

We went back to our LMS Administrator but they were not able to find a clear solution. I assumed there could be others who have faced similar issues and raised the question here.
