New courses still have Flash?
Jun 16, 2020
Our LMS, Healthstream, offered to send us a report of all of our old courses that still contain Flash so we took them up on it, expecting to see very few active courses. To our surprise, we had a huge number, including many (if not all) that were recently created using Storyline 360. Some were just built two weeks ago, and we have been publishing as HTML for as long as that option has been out. We are reaching out to Healthstream for more info, but meanwhile are we missing something from the Storyline end? There are only two of us and neither of us are techies. Thanks!

Hi Steve,
Thanks for contacting us and sharing what your report revealed. Smart of you to investigate any Flash dependencies now. Here's how we're prepared.
I'm curious as to the chosen format used for publishing. Did you choose HTML5/Flash perhaps?
With your permission, I'd be happy to take a look at one of your recent project files to see what's happening. You can share it publicly here, or send it to me privately by uploading it here. I'll delete it when I'm done troubleshooting.
Hi Leslie -
The course I just sent privately was published HTML5 only, I am pretty sure, which is why I was so surprised to see it on the list. It was published the end of May. We rarely (if ever) change the settings from the defaults, and that is my default setting now.
Thanks for the help!
Thanks, Steve. Sending you a reply now :)
