Hi there Boris,

Tom created a screenr a while back that may help you out with this:

For reference, here is a Knowledge Base article from Microsoft on how to install or remove a font in Windows.

Also, just a tip: Make sure you don't have Storyline open when you install the new font. If you did have it running, you'll want to close it and then restart the software.

Let us know how it goes!

Hi Julien,

You'll want to make sure that when installing the font Storyline isn't open, and if it was I'd suggest restarting the computer in addition to Storyline.  Once you've installed the font, you should see it accessible within Storyline - and a good way to confirm that you'll be able to use the font in Storyline is to see if you can access it in Microsoft Word. If it doesn't work in Word, I wouldn't expect it to work in Storyline.

Let us know if you need more assistance!

Hi Julien,

What font are you using? You said it appears in SL as an option but when you try to apply it to text nothing occurs, are you able to apply any other standard fonts? Can you confirm that you're working on local project files as described here? Is this the only new font you've added or do all fonts not work right? If the latter, I'd also look at going through the repair steps detailed here.

Hi Ashley, sorry I didn't get any notification for your reply, so  I'm just seeing it.

The font I am using is a customed client font called "excellence in motion". I use another customed Helvetica font. All the other fonts work right.

It is getting weirder: if i select a text and try to apply the font, nothing happens but if I let the cursor in the middle of a word and change the font, it is applied to this same word...

Hi Julien,

You mentioned it also happened with a customed Helvetica font - is that one accessible somewhere for free to download? I'm not sure how Storyline works with the customization of standard fonts - but we'd need to be able to see the font to take a look. If you're able to share them privately you can also do so here.
