I upgraded to version 11: 3.11.23355.0 a few days ago when it became available.
When I use other applications and then try to go back to Storyline 3, it often won't return, even though the icon in the Taskbar indicates it's open. The only solution seems to be crashing and re-launching Storyline.

I'd recommend a repair of your install to get back up and running properly.
