Newbie - Suggestions for practice - HELP!

Jan 31, 2018

Hi everyone,

I'm new to Articulate Storyline 360 and finished the training provided by Yukon Learning. I don't want to forget everything I've learned so I'm looking for suggestions on how to continue learning and practicing on the tool. Do you have any suggestions on how I can do this? I've been told there was some sort of daily practice sessions available, I just don't know if 1. These exist and 2. Where I can find them.

Any suggestions help on where to start help.

Thanks!

Hi Angelica,

Great questions! I love that you’re looking for ways to keep your Articulate Storyline 360 skills fresh! I've listed some resources, below, that I think will be helpful for you:

The E-Learning Heroes community is jam-packed with Storyline 360 tutorials, tips, and project ideas. This series about Getting Started with Storyline 360 is broken out into discrete tutorials, so you could tackle one a day if you’d like. You may also find this collection of how-to articles and tutorials on adding basic interactivity to your Storyline projects may be of help.

Another hot tip: keep an eye on our Storyline hub for more articles, tutorials, freebies, downloads, and discussions to help you continue to hone your skills.

As an Articulate 360 subscriber, you also get access to live online training webinars to help you grow your skills. Articulate Live webinars are hosted by industry experts and cover lots of helpful topics. I strongly recommend taking a look to see if we're offering a topic that's of interest to you, and then register for an upcoming webinar!

Finally, another great resource of ongoing practice and learning is David Anderson's weekly E-Learning Challenge. These are challenge activities where folks like you share their work and get feedback from others. It's a great way to stretch your technical muscles AND your creative muscles!

Best wishes on your Storyline journey, Angelica. We're here to help and so excited to see what you create!
