New to using Articulate

Aug 18, 2015

I am very new to using articulate and trying to create my first quiz.

I have a series of 15 True/False questions which I have in a question bank and have created a quiz with results slide and grades.

My problem is that 2 of these slides need to have a follow up question immediately follow them if the learner gets the question correct. I have included these questions in my question bank and attempted to "lock" them to the slide they relate to but they remain in the shuffle and aren't coming where I need them to.

I have tried to have them outside the question bank and link to the slide when learner clicks ok on the "correct" layer but once they return to the quiz they cycle through all the questions they have already answered before getting back to unanswered quiz questions.

Does anyone have any tips on how I could get this to work?

Thanks

Rachel

Hi Rachel,

If you've included them as a part of the shuffle, they will be locked to the question as a whole, and cannot be locked to an individual layer or answer.

As far as linking to them outside the question bank, since there isn't a way to direct back to the question they left off on (question bank slides are one slide for a draw) this sounds like it's working as designed, although different than you need.

Hopefully others in the community will be able to share some thoughts on additional ways to set up this design.
