Next button and hotspots

Hi,

I have 2 questions relating to Storyline

1. For the default Next button at the bottom of the screen, is there any way of getting that to highlight when a slide ends or does that have to be coded in screen by screen? It would be great if that feature was available because sometimes the learner may not always be sure when a slide ends
2. For the hotspots assessment it seems that you can only have 1 hotspot on the screen. Is there no assessment template where you can have multiple hotspots on the one slide? I'm thinking of a picture where you have to highlight different areas on the same screen.
