Next button conditions in player

Nov 28, 2012

I'm developing a course that has a lot of different aspects, i.e. video, flash, pop-up buttons, hotspots, etc. What is the best way to condition the next button in player to become active only when all the content within each slide has been viewed?

I've tried changing the conditions on the next button to move forward once the variable that I created for e.g. pop-up buttons, within a slide have been visited. However, it clashed with the conditions I created on a previous slide to only move forward once the media within that slide had completed.

Any suggestions?

Hi SinchuRaj

Yes, I was troubleshooting with a colleague and we managed to figure it out. We were only adding one condition to the trigger attached to the next button when we should have been adding more. Thanks for your advice, SinchuRaj.

Do you happen to know if you can set the player trigger to move to the next page on the condition that a variable is true in the slide master in stead of within each slide? I am looking in to it, however, if I set it up in the slide master and delete the player trigger from jumping to the next slide within the individual slides it does not move forward at all (i.e. it does not take on the trigger created in the slide master).
