Next Button
Nov 14, 2014
Hi can any one help, please?
I'm new to Articulate and have just developed my first course. Does anyone know if it is possible to set the Next button in the player to change colour when its ok for a user to advance to the next slide. I've set conditions so the button can't be pressed too early, but feedback I've had is that they would like the button to change colour when its ready to click.

You can do this in Storyline 2 by changing it to disabled and then to normal, but it is not possible in Storyline 1
Thanks, unfortunately I'm using Storyline 1

I normally show a caption with label "Next" pointing to the next button when the timeline ends.
Thanks, that's not really what I want to do but appreciate your
suggestion.

Another option is to build your own navigation elements and hide the built-in controls. Here's an example. The controls are on the master slide.
Hi Sallie,
As folks mentioned here you won't be able to modify the next buttons look within SL1. I also just wanted to pop in to let you know that when replying via email your signature was included and if you'd like to remove that information you can edit it to delete.
