I have a course where the Next button is not working properly for all of our users. We've tested with various browsers and computers and even when the same browser/version and computer are used, some people can use the Next button and others cannot. I am also hearing that the menu is not working properly for some users. Has anyone else had this issue?
Thanks for letting us know what you are seeing in your course. It looks like you may be using Storyline 3, is that correct?
You mention the next button and the menu, so I'm curious if you have some restricted navigation within your course?
Is there a particular browser that is causing the issue or is there no consistency?
With your permission, I'd like to take a look at your project file to investigate what's happening. You can share it publicly here, or send it to me privately by uploading it here. I'll delete it when I'm done troubleshooting.
I am a co-worker of Diane and can provide some additional information.
Yes, we are using Storyline 3. There is restricted navigation with the course (participants cannot click 'Next' until they have finished watching a slide). The only browsers that we are experiencing issues with (so far) are Chrome and Firefox. IE and Edge are working. Here's where it gets strange; not every participant is experiencing the issue even if system/browser settings are identical. For example, we have the course running on two different computers that are set up identically (Windows 10, Google Chrome). For Person #1 there are no issues. For Person #2, they cannot click the Next (or previous) button. The button appears grayed out at first, but then turns blue when the slide completes as if it is clickable. When the button is clicked, nothing happens.
Let me know if you need any additional information, and thank you for your help!
It sounds like the Next button becomes enabled when the timeline ends, but when you click on the Next button, nothing happens. Is that right?
Does this happen on all slides, or just certain slides in particular?
We'd love to take a look at your project file to try and nail down what's causing this. If that works for you, you can upload your file privately to our support team here. We'll give it a test and let you know what we find!
I spoke too soon, Patrick! It looks like Diane is already working in a case with my teammate, Richard. I'll keep my eye on that case and post updates here as they are available!

Leslie,
I've been working with Richard Anciado on your support team, and did send him the Storyline file and published file. Case #01685158
Although he says it work on SCORM Cloud, it does not work for me, even when I use his SCORM Cloud link. I've had numerous users who are having issues.
Thank you,
Diane
