I am not sure if this is a new update, but I've never noticed this before today. When previewing my project, I can't click Next until the timeline has finished. I feel like it used to be that a user could click next regardless, unless there was a trigger, exception made to specifically make them wait for the timeline or other action.
Please let me know if there is a setting that globally changes this so they can click next regardless of the timeline.

Are your navigation restrictions set to 'Restricted'? I've only seen that behavior when that is enabled:
If thats the problem it can be fixed by setting it back to 'Free'.
