OK, I am probably the least intelligent person on this forum, so any help would be appreciated.
I recorded software simulation with simultaneous narration directly into Storyline. Usually I record audio seperately then import, but thought I would try Storyline for this training. (Usually use a different product for software simulation training). Previews fine, and published files play back fine on authoring laptop. When i upload to web server - no audio and screen capture isn't there. All other layers seem to play fine. Same issue with audio when viewing on ipad.
i publish Articulate Presenter files to this server without issue. Any ideas as to what I may be missing?
Have you had a chance to test the course on a different server? If not, you might want to try uploading to Tempshare or SCORM Cloud, just to see if the audio plays once it's uploaded.
If the audio plays on the other servers, it may be an issue with MIME types on your current server, or how the server is handling the project.
If the audio does not play on those other servers, it may be an issue with the project itself. If that's the case, are you able to share the .STORY file? I'd be happy to take a look.

You were absolutely correct that the issue was a MIME file association. The IT guys made the change to the server and all is good!
