I want to add subtitels/captions to my audio files. In the tutorials, I have seen, caption "boubbles" were generated automatically when you press the button: "audio hinzufügen" or "add captions". dependent on the sound waves.
When I press the button "add captions" no boubble were added. Also at short, or long audio files. I tried different files..
Can you confirm that the audio files you are testing with came with caption files as well? Storyline won't generate or create captions from an audio file, but you can import captions using the add captions button.
You can find more information on importing closed captions here.
But in the tutorial, I saw, that storyline creates speach boubles, when you
press the button: create Captions.
In my case, this is not the fact. I have to add every speech double and
fill in the relevant content myself. I thought, when the boubles, created
themselves it is a good support.
it's the point. No captions (or speech boubles) were created.
So, I would by happy, when they are on the wrong place! ;)
I have to create my speech boubles myself.

It should create some captions when you choose to add captions but they are often in the wrong place.
Thank you Phil Mayor,
