No Pictures

I've been working on a project using one of the great downloads on this site. Everything has been working wonderfully until this afternoon when I went back into the project and attempted to preview a scene. All of the pictures and characters are missing although the text is there. Any idea what happened?
I noticed this after I attempted to record a simulation and then preview it. The simulation wouldn't come up so I tried looking at another scene to see if it would preview and that's when I saw I had no pictures.
Articulate itself seems to be working.

OK, I just went back in to work and found that although the pictures are on the thumbnails, when I bring up a slide the pictures don't show - just the text.

I've submitted the file and they have opened a case, but so far haven't heard anything. I've also checked my other files and the only one that has the problem is this one.
