Hi Kay!

Thanks very much for posting the file. Actually, if you're using the video included in the tutorial, the video doesn't contain any sound. So, you're not doing anything wrong. The video is provided so you can see how a running video will look in your course. If you'd like to see what I mean, navigate to the folder that contains the files from the example and launch the video by itself. You'll see that the video is silent

Thank you Christine...

Unfortunately, because it is a .fla video file, I do not not currently have any software on my PC that can run it independently, so I was unable to check that myself.

I recently purchased a new PC, and I am trying to keep it clean and only install software that's absolutely necessary. I have an old  version of Flash which is Flash MX Professional 2004.

Do you advise installing it? It is quite dated now... I think it dates from 2005.... yikes! How time flies....

Hi Kay,

No problem! You should be able to right-click on the video (from the folder) and select an option in the menu similar to "Open with..." or "Play with..". If you're using Windows, you may already have default software that will play Flash videos (this is usually Windows Media Player, etc.). If you have the default installation of Windows Media Player, or something similar, you'll be able to watch it. It never hurts to have software that can play these types of files, because you may need to test them for future courses
