Non collapsible menu on the left hand side panel

Hi
Please can anyone help me in adding a non collapsible menu on the left hand side panel that is displayed at all times (like the one in the screen shot below)
I am able to add menu but it is appearing on the top left hand side bar (something like the one below).
I am not sure if it is because of the template I have chosen.

Think I see now...
Highlight the "Menu" option in the Player, then use the "blue arrow" and click until it moves to the correct section. You have it in the "Topbar Left" section, and you need it to move to "Sidebar".
Let me know if this works.
