Not Able to Preview My S3 Project

Oct 07, 2019

A few years ago, I spent about a year learning Storyline and creating the beginnings of a project. I let it set for awhile as life got in the way, but now I need to get back to it.

The problem now is that I can get the project to open, but I can't get it to preview so I can look at it. It just endlessly says that it is loading.

Here's where I'm at...

1)  I'm using the latest version of Parallels on a Mac.

2)  Using Storyline 3

3)  I have a high-end Mac with plenty of Ram.

4)  I've increased the RAM in Parallels, to no avail.

5)  The course at this point is about 250mb in size...and that is but a mere fraction of what the final course will entail.

==========

Is there some Parallels or S3 settings that I'm missing that need to be enabled so I can Preview everything?

I used to be able to open the project, but now I can't. So I'm at a complete loss as to how to proceed from here.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

All the best,
Rand

Hi Rand,

Thanks for reaching out and letting us know that you're running into difficulty previewing your project.

I'm curious if the issue happens in any course you are working on or just this particular one?

If you cannot re-create the issue in a new course, I would advise to import the file into a new one and proceed.

If it's happening in any/all files, you should conduct a repair of your software.
