Not enough space on the disk to save

Does anyone know anything about ways around this? It seems tied to my c drive.
Basically we work from network drives which have boatloads of space but due to some unknown factors the empty space on the c drive on these machines gets eaten up behind the scenes, the result of which is when that drops below a certain amount (I guess the filesize of the file in question) now matter where you try to save it fails with the above message, which ultimately means I have to throw away any work since last save, restart the pc and start again.

search for tmp files typically in the approving area of the user profile, you will find loads of temp files named the same as your articulate projects, if you use loads of videos then these can be huge.
You should be able to clear most of these out.
approaming area, sorry autocorrect bit me again.
nice one, will look into that.
Found that folder. It was hidden I think which is why I never saw it before but got in via searching for .tmp and deleted all but the ones for the one I'm working on. Cheers
