As a Storyline beginner, I've started the e-challenges as a way to hone my skills. I just finished the first one & would love to post it & get some feedback, lol--but I'm not sure how to upload it, actually.
When I publish or save the folder locally, which file(s) do I upload to Google Drive (for example) so that others can see it?
There are a couple of ways you can share your projects. If you like Google Drive, you can use this method for sharing your published course by Mike Taylor:
Another option would be to share a zipped version of your project and attach it to the forums or Dropbox. Users would need to download and unzip the file to view the published output.
For a temporary solution, you could use Articulate Tempshare. Tempshare works great but it auto-deletes your files in 10 days. If you'd like us to host your file, you can send me the published version and I can upload to our challenge server.
Thanks again for jumping into the challenges. Let me know what you'd like to do re: hosting your published files.
Hi Vonetta! The url to share starts with http://googledrive.com/host/ and then you add the big, ugly folder ID t o the end. I was able to get a copy of your files and you can see them via this link from my Google Drive account:
Thanks so much, David. There's a block on the link from my job so I can't see it from that computer, but I was able to pull it up on my phone so it looks like the link works.
This is good to know; I'll be sure to remember the URL format!
