Hi David,
I'm really enjoying your tutorials! Very helpful.
However, I wanted to point out that in the Storyline 360 and Storyline 3: Adding Interactivity with Triggered State Changes tutorial, you ask us to create a trigger on an object and changing it to "state A."
However, in the practice files we download, there is no custom state "A" so the trigger we're trying to create won't work the way your video demonstrates. Just wanted to let you know! Thanks,
Colin

Thanks Colin - I'll take a look at the tutorial and sync up with David in case we need to make changes!
Hi Colin,
It looks like you may have skipped the first part of the tutorial, as that's where you create the states and the rest of the tutorial is where you trigger those. The first scene in the interactive demo scene in the practice file has those states created so you could also do the work there versus going right to the second scene where you would create them yourself.
Sorry for any confusion!
Thanks, Ashley!
Yeah, I just used the first scene as reference and created the states myself. Thanks for circling back. Have a good one!
Hi, created a new slide and can't get the trigger to work either.
Hi Emma and welcome to E-Learning Heroes :)
Thanks for reaching out.
We'd be happy to take a look at what you've got so we can understand why a trigger is not working for you.
With your permission, I'd like to take a look at your project file to investigate what's happening. You can share it publicly here, or send it to me privately by uploading it here. I'll delete it when I'm done troubleshooting.
