I've added notes to a course I'm building and when previewing the notes are off alignment. I've checked the formatting and all looks correct, but this keeps happening. Samples below .....
There is a manual line break (caused by hitting Enter) between "the" and "notes".
This can also be caused by creating the notes with a text-based program that inserts hard line returns at the right margin, instead of wrapping the text.
Place your cursor directly in front of "notes", and backspace. You should see no difference in editing mode, but a change in preview mode. If that doesn't do it, ATTACH your .story file here, as Leslie suggested.

Are you able to replicate this behavior in a new file? Are you copy/pasting the material from somewhere that may still have formatting applied?
