I've seen this before when the slide title needed to wrap and then the line was cutting through the text, but it doesn't look like your title is long enough to be wrapping? Have you forced it to the second line with a lot of spaces at the beginning?
Thanks for confirming - no particular issues on that OS that I know of playing a role in the notes tab. I'm curious, do you see this on each and every Storyline file you're working on? Can you confirm that you're working on local project files as described here? When was the last time you went through a Storyline repair?
Yes, it is on every file. I am working off my local project files as described. Never went through a repair, though i am running the most upto date version.
I will need to check our policies to see what i can share.
If you could run through the repair and still see the behavior, even a sample file with the same behavior in the player would be helpful for me to take a look at.
Thanks for sharing that here. It's particularly interesting - as the line only appears when the notes tab is the only item enabled (which was helpful to see in your player set up).
I'll have to share this with our QA team and I don't have a time frame in regards to when I'd hear back about this issue so in the meantime you may want to put the Notes in the top right/left instead of in the sidebar so that you don't see the line or if using more than one tab, not as the first tab option.
Our QA team was doing some testing and found that adding any text within the notes section even just some spaces allowed the line to sit below the title text instead of dissecting it. I tested this as well on your original file and saw the same behavior by just adding a few spaces within the notes section on the slide itself. You'll want to use that as a workaround in the time being as this issue is still with our QA team.

Hi Ashley,
I can assure you there are no spaces at the start or end. I'm using 64bit windows 7. Storyline issue on that OS?

James

Hi Ashley,
The repair has not worked, Here is another screen capture and example file.
