Number Questions in a Quiz
Mar 23, 2017
Hello! In a quiz, (Storyline 360) I am using the function: "Question %QuestionNumber% of 10" to show the learner how many questions they have completed out of the total number of questions. The learner can retake the quiz until they pass it. Problem is, for example if they are taking the quiz a second time, counting will start at 11 out of 10 and continue 12 out of ten, etc. How do I configure it to start at "1" again. For example, 1 out of 10, 2 out of 10, etc.?

Hey Nancy! Great question. When they click to retake the quiz, can you attach a trigger to adjust your QuestionNumber variable back to its initial value? You'll want to make sure that trigger comes before any trigger to jump back to the question slides so that it has a chance to reset.
Have not tried this in 360 but this may help.

Hi Lyn,
Thanks for reaching out, and great call to chat in! It looks like you were initially having some issues with a case, but I'm glad my teammate, Vevette, was able to get you squared away!
