Number variables in a table

Oct 23, 2020

Hello Community!

I'm a newbie to variables. I created the attached SL file using number variables.  Any suggestions on how to format or make different?

  • Instead of the answer layer, I'd prefer for learners to be able to try up to 3 times and if incorrect, be given the answer.
  • I'm open to any design ideas regarding the look of the table too.

Thank you!

Its quite easy to add some form of 'attempt-control'.

- Add a variable... for example 'attempts', make sure its type is 'Number' and default value of 0

- Step 1: add an action on checkbutton that adds 1 to that variable.
- Step 2: add an action on checkbutton that shows the 'Answers'-layer if attempts >= 3

As seen in this image...

attempts
