I have a Text Entry quiz question. The answer is “Password1”
(case sensitive). If I enter the “1” using the key in the top row of the
alphanumeric keys, Storyline recognizes the answer as correct. However, if I
enter the “1” using the key in the numeric keypad on the right, Storyline
thinks it’s the wrong answer.
I just tested this with a Text Entry quiz, case sensitive, and the number 1 worked whether I used the standard typing number 1 (at the top of the keyboard) or the 1 on my numeric keypad. Tested on both a desktop with external keyboard and laptop with onboard keyboard.
I had a deadline so I came up with a workaround. I'm sorry I didn't think to archive that version so I could analyze the problem. It wasn't the Num Lock key. I checked it. Thanks to both of you for your help.

Hi John,
I don't have a numeric keypad to test this - but did you check that the number lock isn't on while entering it?

Thanks Becky for testing this out!
