Numeric Quizzing Question Retries
Apr 22, 2015
I have a quiz set up to allow user 3 attempts per question before they are prompted to watch the Tutorial again. I have the base layer set to reset to initial state when revisited and have the tutorial setup to "jump back to slide x" when exited (which reinstates the slide, giving the user 3 new attempts).
This works correctly for multiple choice, true/false, multi-answer choice, however the slide does not seem to reset when I use a Numeric Quiz Question (ie, type the number in the space provided). Am I doing something wrong??
Thanks

Can you share your output and storyfile?
Hi, Patrick -- I agree with Yusuf; it would be helpful if you could post your .story file here so we can take a look.
Please find attached the one slide I'm referring to! Thanks for you help!
Hi Patrick,
Thanks for sharing the file. As I see after clicking on the watch tutorial button it takes the user to new layer and not a new slide. Keep your tutorial on a new slide and the user would be able to attempt the question when he visits again.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Yusuf
Hi, Patrick -
Thanks for providing your file, and I agree with Yusuf's suggestion. That should work to address the issue your seeing.
