I'm using a numeric test question for the first time. All of my other test questions work perfectly when I do the preview. However, with the numeric test question, when I click "Submit" it does not go to the next question. Thoughts? Thank you!
Without seeing the file, it's difficult to say. Did you remove or change the submission trigger by chance? Is there another trigger that is getting in the way of that one working? Are you able to answer the question, as in type in an answer, but just not submit it? What slides are after that slide? If it's the last slide in a question bank for example, it may be getting stuck there?
Again, if you'd like to post your .story file, or even that one slide we're happy to take a look.
Thank you for the quick feedback. It also an answer to be typed, but it will not submit it. I did not change any of the triggers; although, I did remove the correct/incorrect layers. It was at the end and I moved it closer to the beginning and that did not change it. I then changed it to a fill-in-the blank, and that seems to be working. However, there is another FIB question that is doing the same thing as my numeric and now a multiple choice question is doing the same thing.
It sounds like you've got one of them working but not another? Again, without seeing the file it's hard to diagnose or look at how the triggers are being executed. If you think it may be a trigger issue you could begin by reviewing the information here on the order in which triggers will be executed. Additionally it's also worth checking that you're working on project files as described here.
