Object from Base Layer Displays on 2nd Layer When Hidden

How did you hide the shape?  Any chance you could post the slide?

Oh my...here's where my amateur status gets revealed, LOL.  How would I post the slide?

you could open a new storyline file then import the slide and upload that or delete all the other slides and choose save as.

Or put the whole project up and let us know which slide is the problem

Just attach it to the post using the paperclip

Hi Jill - my what a lovely name you have  

1. To upload your slide, save it as you want others to look at it (meaning maybe you just want to put that slide in a file by itself).
2. Come back here to post your reply - then click on the little paper clip icon to the right of your picture.  You will be prompted to upload your file (upload your .story file), which will show up at the bottom next to the "Post Your Reply" button.

Phil beat me to it - phast phil!  

For some reason I'm having difficulty uploading the file.  I tried the single slide and the whole project but the attachment isn't showing up.  I'll have to talk to our network administrator tomorrow to see if this is a firewall issue.  Stay tuned... 

OOPS...There it is!.  It ought to give you a good chuckle.  Keep in mind I'm a true amateur.

It's a work in progress.  The problem slide (not that all of them aren't) is the 'Driver  Selection' slide. 

Jill, what is the shape that is animating incorrectly? Seems ok to me...

The "High Risk Driver" shape on the base layer of the slide was playing on the Selection Criteria layer even though it was hidden.  It's not performing that way in the file you're viewing?  Hmmmm....well maybe the problem is resolvecd.

Assume you mean Decision Criteria layer.... No, does not appear when I view it....
