I am trying to create a simple game. I have an object that the user is trying to get across the screen with less than intersecting with 4 of the 9 moving items.
I triggered a Winner layer if the leave the slide. Only problem is I don't want them to leave the top or bottom of the slide.
I am using a motion path for the movement. Up, Down, left. Left is the target, not up or down. Can or how can I restrict the object form going off on the top and bottom of the slide.
You could add transparent shapes to the top and bottom. Then add triggers that change the state of the Up and Down buttons to Disabled if the plane intersects with either shape.
Another option would be to use a counter variable that is increased or decreased everytime the Up or Down button is clicked. Based on the variable value you can determine the plane`s vertical position and only move it up or down if it is still away far enough from the top or bottom edge.

I got the up and down buttons to work, but I can not figure out how to apply to the key strokes up and down?
