object states not changing with slider variables

Hi.

I have states for my object (called colour change) and 10 variables for the slider (called stable unstable)to get my object to change colour. 

When I moved my slider it went from the initial state (0) to 10 and wouldn't go back to any other colour. Is there another variable I have to add or something else that I have not done?
