Objects corrupted in scene-view?
Apr 07, 2013
Hi,
I have af problem when using Articulate Storyline on my laptop. As this screenshot shows the objects and characters all seem to be cropped or corrupted. It doesn't seem to affect the published slides - except in a few cases - but it makes it nigh impossible to edit the project on my laptop.
The project is stored in dropbox for convenience, and it shows up fine on the two desktop computers I'm using.
Any ideas as to why it does this - and how to fix it?

Hi Morten, It probably has something to do with your screen resolution.
Hey Morten, welcome
Give this a shot and let us know if it helps...
Thanks to both of you.
Changing the resolution didn't work but it turned out the DPI was set to 120, so changing it to 96 DPI did the trick.
Glad to hear it, Morten!
Hey Peter, I didn't get email updates to the responses to this thread - also noticing this in a other threads I have commented on - where would I report this since it is not really a product bug?
Hey Nancy
Yeah, we recently put some new spam rules into place, which is great, but the side effect was that our forum thread subscriptions broke.
We're working hard to restore them.
You might notice that threads you were subscribed to prior to the change we made might still be getting through to you, but for any newer threads you're contributing to, you'll have to manually subscribe using the button near the top-right of each thread (and even then, the subscription seems to be acting funny).
Really sorry about the inconvenience, but we're hopeful to get it back to normal soon.
Hi Nancy,
We're actually working on subscription issues with the forums. We had to make some adjustments due to some recent spam attacks. For now, if you respond to a message, you'll want to make sure you subscribe to the thread again by clicking on the link in the upper right-hand corner of the page.
Sorry for the trouble! Hopefully we'll have this back to normal soon :)
Thanks!
